Randi Zuckerberg is an entrepreneur, investor, bestselling author, and Emmy-nominated tech media personality. She is the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, with the mission of supporting current and future entrepreneurs through investment, mentorship, and media.

Alexandra joined Insight in 2017. Previously, she worked for Future\Perfect Ventures, an early stage fund focused on fintech and distributed ledger technology. She was also a part of the virtual reality team at Global Nomads Group. Alexandra graduated with honors from New York University with a BS in Finance from the Stern School of Business and a BA in Computer Science from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. During her time at NYU, she conducted research on the evolving economics of on-demand transportation and the adoption of autonomous vehicles in partnership with Uber and BlaBlaCar.

Geri Kirilova is a Partner at Laconia. Prior to joining Laconia, Geri was a Business Associate at Techstars Internet-of-Things program, where she facilitated program operations and worked directly with ten portfolio companies on customer acquisition, growth strategy, fundraising, business development, and messaging and storytelling. As an operator, Geri managed a branch of Kweller Prep, a boutique educational services firm, leading hiring, training, sales, program management, client relations, and curriculum development. She is a graduate of New York University Stern School of Business, and holds a BS in Business with specializations in Information Systems and Management.

Mercedes’ path to VC is a true convergence of her life experiences — a childhood surrounded by inventors, studies at Harvard and Stanford, finance roles at the Federal Reserve and Goldman, and managing P&L at startups in VR and EdTech, and her long-term goal of empowering communities she cares about. She began her venture capital career at Owl Ventures before joining Lightspeed’s consumer investing team in 2019.

Anita Rehman is Chief of Staff to the CEO at GSV Asset Management. Anita’s experience encompasses roles as an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor to global companies in the Technology sector. Prior to GSV, she was an investment professional at Vantage Point Capital Partners and an investment consultant at The Three Cairns family office where she invested in early to growth stage technology companies across the Consumer, Enterprise and Energy sectors. Anita is also the founder of a vertically integrated plus size womenswear retail startup, an invaluable experience that contributes richly to the perspective she brings as an investor and advisor.
